a message from hot chi’s founders
Two years ago, something changed at Revival Food Hall. And we didn't know it at the time, but things would never be the same again.
Here's what actually happened: the food hall didn't close. It changed hands and became Sterling Food Hall. Same great vendors, same location at 125 S Clark St, just under new management.
But the way the transition was announced made it sound like everything was shutting down. A lot of Chicago believed that. We don't blame them because that's exactly what it looked like.
What we haven't said publicly until now: we never fully bounced back from that. The confusion cost us a real chunk of the community that used to grab lunch with us every week.
